By bus

Getting to Hilsea Lines by bus is easy, with regular services connecting the area to Portsmouth city centre, Southsea, Cosham, Havant and surrounding communities. Several local bus routes serve stops along London Road, just a short walk from Hilsea Lines. Regular services include routes 2, 3, 7, 8, 18, 20, 23, 700 and 725, making public transport a convenient and sustainable way to visit the area.

By train

The area is served well by train. For the western side of the lines, Cosham railway station is a short walk away. For the central and eastern sections, Hilsea railway station is conveniently located nearby. Both have with regular services connecting to Portsmouth & Southsea, Havant, Fareham and wider rail routes.

Hilsea Lines is well connected by cycle routes and footpaths, linking to the wider city network and coastal paths. Flat, accessible paths make it easy to explore once you arrive.

By car

The site is located just off the A27 and close to the A3(M), making it easy to access from Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Parking is available nearby, including dedicated spaces around Hilsea Lido and the splash pool.
