Markets

Get yourself to one of Portsmouth’s markets for a huge selection of quality, locally made products. They not only provide the chance to pick up a gift or memento you won't find anywhere else, but also let you get closer to the artists, bakers and creatives who live and work in the city.

Some of the markets we have coming up are outlined below, or why not make time for a trip to one of the regular markets that are a Portsmouth mainstay. On Commercial Road in the city centre there's a market running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 9am to 4.30pm. It offers street food, gifts, clothing, hardware, flowers and fresh produce. Meanwhile, up on Cosham Precinct you'll find its weekly market taking place each Monday (except Bank Holidays), also between 9am and 4.30pm. There are plants, clothing, hardware and fresh produce to browse and buy.

The Love Southsea Markets on Palmerston Road bring together local makers and creatives in a warm and welcoming environment. Bag a keepsake or treat yourself to something delicious on the first and third weekend of each month.

More information on markets in the city can be found on the Rediscover Portsmouth website.
