The Alternative Tour of Highland Road Cemetery starts at 2pm from the chapel. This tour includes many of the Portsmouth people names you will recognise, including Brickwood, Allaway and Timothy White. There is also a Classic Tour on selected dates, which includes eight Victoria Cross holders.

The tour stays to the path and is a slow, leisurely stroll around the cemetery. It costs £3 per person.

The chapel opens at 1pm, with over a thousand stories on display of some of those buried there. Entry to the chapel is free.
