About

Clarence Pier has been a beloved part of Southsea’s seafront since 1945, and in 2025 it's proudly celebrating 80 years of fun and memories!

Enjoy one of the largest amusement parks on the South Coast, with attractions for everyone — from gentle family rides to exciting coasters and thrill rides. The brand-new Big Wheel offers stunning views across the Solent, while the thrilling Runaway Train coaster is already a family favourite. Plus, don’t miss the South Coast’s only Upside-Down House — perfect for fun, quirky photos!

If you’re looking to escape the weather, head indoors to The Putt Hutt, the vibrant indoor adventure golf course, or explore three massive arcades packed with the latest games, classics, and prize machines. And when you’re ready for a break, sit down and enjoy a meal at the Wimpy restaurant – perfect for families looking for a nostalgic treat or a quick bite.

Whether you’re visiting for the rides, the games, or the atmosphere, Clarence Pier promises a fantastic day out by the sea.

Be sure to visit this season as Clarence Pier marks eight decades of fun, with new attractions, special events, and plenty of chances to make unforgettable memories.
