Portsmouth’s music venues have taken on legendary status – not just for their role in the community but some of the incredible performances they’ve witnessed. Portsmouth Guildhall, for example, saw Pink Floyd debut their seminal album Dark Side of the Moon in full for the first time ever. Elsewhere, Portsmouth Pyramids has played host to a number of big name acts on their way up, whilst the Wedgewood Rooms has become a mecca for live music lovers – with local bands, touring shows and more all gracing the ‘Wedge’ stage.
