About
Join the Mary Rose Museum on 20 July to make your own Tudor-inspired pottery piece. Working with local pottery studio Fatclay Pottery, you'll be able to learn from the experts - no previous pottery experience is needed!
Start your day with a talk from Dr Alex Hildred, Head of Research at the Mary Rose Trust, who will be discussing the pottery pieces found on the wreck site. Then you'll enjoy a guided tour of the museum with one of the expert team. After a morning of inspiration and a lunch break, it's time to get creative! Learn to sculpt clay, creating your own piece based on the museum collection, but with your own individual style and vision.
Please note that while the museum is able to provide tea and coffee no lunch will be provided.
