About

How do you cook for up to five hundred men and boys on a Tudor warship? What are they going to eat and drink? How can you be sure to have enough of everything you need?

Find out the answers to all these questions and more in this talk about food and drink on the Mary Rose. Based on documentary evidence, physical remains from the wreck and exciting experimental archaeology, this talk will guide visitors through a fundamental aspect of life at sea on Henry VIII's most famous ship.

Guided tours can be added to your visit. They are available to purchase for an extra £15. Tour will take place after the talks and last 90 minutes.
