Children playing with LEGO at a Bricks McGee event

About

Teamwork is what made the pioneers of the Royal Navy unstoppable. They knew that the best ideas were built together, because when it comes to innovation, no one sails solo. So, get your building hands ready for this fun drop-in activity at the Worlds Beneath the Waves exhibition. Use your imagination and help build a giant nautical map out of LEGO bricks.

Will you build a desert island with hidden treasure, a sea monster, or a mighty ship like HMS Victory, HMS Warrior or the Mary Rose? Join one of the master builders from Bricks McGee to help create a fun seascape with other visitors of the museum.

Suitable for ages 5 to 11+ years, this activity is expected to take little sailors around 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Sorry, you can't take the LEGO bricks home with you – the captain likes to count them every night!

This event is free with a valid museum ticket.
