How do you choose 80 artefacts from ten different museums to try and tell the full story of the Normandy Landings? The curator of The D-Day Story explains how the special D-Day in 80 Objects project was created, and some of the perhaps lesser-known aspects of history that it reveals.
Tickets are £5, or free to those with an annual pass or museum ticket to The D-Day Story.
The museum and Overlord Embroidery will be open until 7pm for those visitors who wish to purchase a museum ticket or who have an annual pass. Landing Craft Tank 7074 will not be open on this occasion.
Tickets will be available on the door.
