Funk Format is a multi-disciplinary arts-led organisation that inspires people of all ages to follow their passions by building their confidence and skills through arts and creative collaborations. Founded by Sasha Biloshisky, Funk Format is among the longest-running and the most trusted authentic Street Dance organisations in Hampshire and the south coast.
Sessions focus on learning the foundations of Street Dance forms, such as Hip-Hop freestyle, Breaking, Popping, Locking, and House dance, as well as others. By attending these classes, you will learn new moves, get fitter, boost your confidence and meet positive, like-minded people. You will get down to classic R&B, soul, funk and hip-hop.

Street dance sessions for ages 5 - 7.
Mondays (except bank holidays): 4.15 - 5pm.
Priory School Sports Centre
Adult Street Dance classes
Mondays (except bank holidays):
Breaking (breakdance) for beginners - 6:30 pm.
Street Dance sessions for beginners - 7.45 pm.
Breaking - Breakdancing lessons for kids aged 8 and above. Helps build confidence, creativity and self-discipline.
Tuesdays 5 pm.
