Plus, there will be exclusive talks by the Mary Rose Museum in the Castle Keep, offering a fascinating look into the Cowdray Engraving. This wonderful historic artefacts depitcts one of the most dramatic moments in Tudor naval history: the Battle of the Solent and the sinking of the Mary Rose. The talk will last about 30 minutes, during which time visitors will discover the story of how the Mary Rose was built, sunk, and raised.
After the talk, head up to the castle battlements to view the exact spot where she sank beneath the waves in battle against the French — within sight of the king himself.
The talks will be at 10.30am, 11.15am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Entry is £10 per adult, £5 per child. Family tickets covering up to six people are available for £20.
