About
When The Searchers announced the end of their touring years in 2018, they left behind a legion of devoted fans and supporters who were shocked and saddened that they would no longer be able to enjoy the concerts and the music that, over six decades, had become such an important part of their lives.
So the band returned in 2023 for what was to have been one last hurrah, but such was the success of that tour they have now agreed to go back for one final last time and appear at some of the many venues they weren’t able to visit on that tour.
The Searchers are proud and grateful to all their followers and fans who have supported them over the years for a wonderful and successful career.
These concerts are packed with the band's chart hits, which have made them a major attraction in theatres across the UK. 'Sweets For My Sweet', 'Needles & Pins', 'When You Walk In The Room', 'Goodbye My Love', 'Don`t Throw Your Love Away', 'Sugar & Spice', 'What Have They Done To The Rain' - these are just a selection of their thirteen entries into the British charts achieved by The Searchers - songs that are the soundtrack to countless lives.
Don`t miss your very last chance to catch the final appearance of a truly legendary band. Appropriately the tour, at the request of The Searchers themselves, has been given a title: Thank You.
Please note: If you like to stand or dance when attending the show, the New Theatre Royal recommends buying tickets in the Stalls where you are permitted to dance by your seat. If you do choose to stand up, please be respectful of other patrons around you, who may not want to dance or stand up to see the stage.
Alternatively, those who prefer to stay sitting while enjoying the show are recommended to sit in the Dress Circle or Upper Circle, where standing or dancing are not permitted. Anyone standing to dance when in the Dress Circle or Upper Circle will be asked to sit back down.
