About
Join the Pitt St. & Bored of Southsea crew on Friday 21 June for a free city-wide skate event celebrating Go Skateboarding Day – a global day all about bringing the skate community together and showing love for the culture.
The crew will be hitting up three of the city's best spots – go along for the ride, throw down some tricks, and maybe bag some prizes along the way.
Spot 1 – Milton Skatepark
Milton Park, Milton Road, PO4 8PR
Things kick off at midday at Milton Skatepark. Get warmed up, have a shred, try some tricks and win some goodies. Then, everyone can cruise on to the next spot together.
Spot 2 – The Red Patch
Next to The Briny, Clarence Esplanade, Southsea, PO5 3PG
Next stop: the not-so-red-anymore Red Patch. More skating, more good vibes, more giveaways. You know the drill.
Spot 3 – Pitt St. Skatepark
315 Commercial Road, PO1 4AY
The tour wraps up at Pitt St. Skatepark for the grand opening of its brand-new outdoor Skate Plaza. There's fresh concrete and new ramps – go break them in!
This tour is best suited to people who already know their way around a board, but everyone's welcome to roll along or spectate. Pitt St. will be open to all abilities as usual, and it's totally free to skateboard between 7-10pm on the day thanks to sponsors Carhartt, New Balance Numeric, Skull Candy, Madri, Make Make Brewing Company, Wooden Wife and Deez Nuts.
Skate hire is available, and the Pitt St. Kitchen will be serving up food and drinks all day.
