The City of Portsmouth Preserved Transport Depot will be throwing open its doors for visitors to see up-close the work undertaken to maintain and restore its heritage buses.

A registered charity, the CPPTD aims is to conserve and preserve artefacts relating to road passenger transport in Southern England.

There will be a free bus service put on from Cosham between 10.15am and 2.45pm, with services running at quarter past and quarter to the hour, and from Portchester from 10.30am to 3pm, with services on the hour and at half past. Please note there is no parking at the Depot except for Blue Badge holders. There are no disabled toilet facilities.

Additional bus tours may operate from Wicor, subject to demand, vehicle availability and weather conditions.
