A former student in Portsmouth, Simon Armitage's numerous awards include the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry and an Ivor Novello for song writing.

Armitage's new book Dwell is a stunningly illustrated collection of poems inspired by the Lost Gardens of Heligan. It follows Blossomise, an instant Sunday Times bestseller, and Never Good with Horses, which explores where poetry and song lyric converge.

He will also read unpublished poems from his next book New Cemetery.
