Portsmouth Marine Training is based at Southsea Marina in Langstone Harbour, perfectly placed between Portsmouth and Chichester Harbours with the Solent right on its doorstep.
The centre is able to offer very competitive prices on RYA training courses using its well appointed school boats. The full spectrum of RYA courses is offered, including Sail Cruising, Motor Cruising, Powerboating, Jet Skiing and shore-based classroom courses.
The Centre offers the whole range of RYA courses, designed for every type of boat and every level of experience. If you are interested in speed then the fast paced RYA Powerboat Courses or Personal Watercraft (Jet Ski) Courses could be for you. For comfort, luxury and arriving in style, take a look at the RYA Motor Cruising Courses. If you prefer to take your time and enjoy the journey try the RYA Sail Cruising Courses. For people who like to understand the theory behind boating try one of the RYA Shorebased Courses.
Southsea Marina has excellent shoreside facilities, which includes a free and secure car park, refurbished toilets & showers and onsite café.

Southsea Marina is situated at the entrance to Langstone Harbour.
From the A27, exit at the A2030 junction and proceed south over the bridge. Once on the A2030 (Eastern Road) continue for almost 4 miles, passing through six sets of traffic lights. At the seventh set of lights, turn left onto Milton Road (A288), signposted Eastney. Turn left into Bransbury Road, continue forward into Henderson Road, and turn left into Ferry Road, signposted Hayling Ferry.
Southsea Marina will be on your left hand side. There is free parking on site.
Public Transport Directions
The two closest train stations to Southsea Marina are Fratton station or Portsmouth & Southsea station. Both are approximately 5 minutes by taxi, which should cost between £5 and £10.
