Catch the stars of the silver screen at one of the many cinemas in Portsmouth. From multiplexes showing the latest Hollywood blockbusters to indie cinemas showing some choice art house selections, we’ve got the lot.

The Vue at Gunwharf Quays and Odeon Port Solent are where you’ll catch the latest big films, with 20 screens and more than 4,500 seats between them.

Meanwhile, No. 6 Cinema brings a programme of critically acclaimed independent films to a wonderful Grade II-listed building in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, alongside a host of modern blockbusters and classics of cinema. This is no tiny arthouse cinema, though, but in fact boasts one of the largest screens on the south coast!

We also have a film society operating within Portsmouth, to bring some of the best under-the-radar and cult classics to venues across the city.
