Wave goodbye to summer boredom. Port Solent’s Thursday Kids Clubs are back with free fun for children of all ages during the summer holidays.
From bubble shows to farmyard friends and disco sessions and creative crafts, every Thursday offers something new for little ones to enjoy. With a large outdoor play park at Port Solent, there’s more fun to be had!
What’s on at-a-glance
Thursday 31st July - Disco sessions
Thursday 7th August - Bubble Show
Thursday 14th August - Professor Strange, children’s entertainer
Thursday 21st August - Farm experience with Mill Cottage Farm
Thursday 28th August - Silly Scott, children’s entertainer and craft fun with The Creation Station
After all the excitement, families can refuel at one of Port Solent’s many waterfront restaurants. Choose from a wide range of options, including Italian favourites at O Sole Mio and Prezzo, barbecue tapas at Casa Brasil and classic crowd-pleasers at Wildwood.
Many restaurants offer great-value kids’ menus and deals throughout the holidays, making it easy to enjoy a family meal with views across the marina. Don’t forget to stop by Nata La Rose for an ice cream, the perfect way to cool down after a day of fun.
For those inevitable rainy days, head over to Odeon for a big-screen treat. The cinema’s Kids Screenings are perfect for little film fans. Even better? Adults pay kids’ prices, with tickets starting from £2.75, making it one of the best-value cinema trips around.
Plus, there’s lots more happening all summer long, with the upcoming Pirate Day on Saturday 2nd August, to the popular car meets, monthly waterfront markets and more. See the full summer events programme on the Port Solent website.
