Join The Mary Rose museum for a brand new talk, led by one of its expert costumed guides, which explores the role of the cook, and eating and drinking on board the ship. There will also be a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum included.

This experience is perfect for history lovers and foodies alike!

This will be followed by refreshments in the Wardroom, access to the museum's exterior viewing balcony, and a talk delivered by one of the expert team members.

What were conditions like for the crew? What did they eat and drink, who prepared and served their food and what do we know about the ship's cook? What tools did the cook have to hand?
Fascinating facts about food and drink on board; what did it taste like, was it nourishing and did the crew really only drink beer?
