British soul legend and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Kenny Thomas will be hitting the road with his all-star band for a nine-leg UK tour for spring 2024.

Kenny will take his soulful flair and greatest hits such as ‘Thinking About Your Love’, ‘Best of You’ and ‘Outstanding’ to some of the most historical and beautiful theatres across the country, including including the New Theatre Royal right here in Portsmouth.

Kenny remains one of the most important and successful UK soul singers of his generation. His 1991 debut album ‘Voices’ sold 600,000 copies in the UK alone. He would go on to achieve a total of eight Top 40 singles and two Top 10 records, whilst also picking up two BRIT-Award Nominations (for ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and ‘Best Newcomer’).

Please note: If you like to stand or dance when attending the show, the New Theatre Royal recommends buying tickets in the Stalls where you are permitted to dance by your seat. If you do choose to stand up, please be respectful of other patrons around you, who may not want to dance or stand up to see the stage.

Alternatively, those who prefer to stay sitting while enjoying the show are recommended to sit in the Dress Circle or Upper Circle, where standing or dancing are not permitted. Anyone standing to dance when in the Dress Circle or Upper Circle will be asked to sit back down.
