Discover the fascinating history of this beautiful theatre, from 1856 to the present day, and get a chance to see the secrets of a Phipps/Matcham Theatre in operation.

These free tours will also show you parts of the theatre not usually visited by the public.

The New Theatre Royal tour has been specially designed to be accessible for all, using lifts rather than stairs, to allow even those using wheelchairs access to areas not usually seen by theatre visitors.

Places are limited and pre-booking is essential.
