Join Fort Nelson as it marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a weekend of big gun firings, Second World War artillery displays, re-enactors and military vehicles, as well as contemporary music from singing duo Perfect Vintage.

There will be two firings of Second World War artillery per day. The drills will be performed by uniformed detachments from the Garrison Artillery Volunteers.
11.30am: 25-pounder
2.30pm: Sexton

The programme will also include:
1940's music with singing duo Perfect Vintage
Children's activities
Search and rescue dog demonstrations
Face-painting
Second World War re-enactors
Home Guard drills
Beachhead Commando static display
Plus lots more besides.
