About

Portsmouth Poetry, along with Ports Fest, proudly present 'Prudery & Patriarchy' with Carys Eleri.

Don't miss this hilarious romp through the recently discovered poetry of Welsh feminist, bard and scourge of bigots, Gwerful Mechain, poet of the vagina. It's an uproariously rich, touching, angry one-woman performance by the fabulous Carys Eleri, actor, broadcaster, singer, songwriter, comedian and novelist.

A hit at the Laugharne Weekend Festival, the BBC Radio 4 version of one of Eleri's unforgettable show has been nominated for an international Prix Marulic award.

Suitable for 18+. Contains explicit language.
