The annual Lake of Lights in-memory event, taking place at Canoe Lake, is organised by Rowans Hospice. This is a wonderful opportunity to remember those special to you and dedicate a candle that will be placed on the lake to create a magical 'Lake of Lights', while reflecting on memories shared with loved ones who are no longer with us.
The remembrance service will commence at 5.45pm and be led by the charity's Spiritual Care Chaplain, Carol Gully.
Parking will be available along the Seafront from Eastney to South Parade Pier, along with the Canoe Lake Car Park.
Light up a Life is a series of special, in-memory community events that are organised by hospices and take place across the UK during the festive period. Christmas is a special time of year for us, giving time to create new memories with people we love, but also a time to reflect and remember loved ones who live on forever in our hearts.
Join the Rowans team for a meaningful evening, remembering those who are no longer with us whilst supporting the care provided at the hospice.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Lake of Lights event, whether you have received support from Rowans Hospice or not.
