Join the Hotwalls Studios for a weekend of festive fun. The resident artists will open their studios and the Parade Ground will be transformed into a market square with local traders selling prints, ceramics, homeware, sculpture, jewellery and much more. Further market stalls will be found inside the Round Tower as The Trader Keep artisan market returns too. All of this will be complemented by live music, mulled wine and, of course, food and drink at The Canteen!
The market is free to attend and is within easy walking distance of other attractions in the city. The event is wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.
Embrace the chance to watch artists and makers at work, purchase unique Christmas gifts and even commission professional pieces.
The council will be following government guidelines to keep the event safe. All attendees are encouraged to take a lateral flow test within the 48 hours before the event, and to wear a face covering in the studios and Round Tower.
People should not attend the event if they have symptoms of COVID-19, have been asked to self-isolate or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days. Further information relating to COVID-19, including guidance on testing, self-isolation and vaccinations can be found at portsmouth.gov.uk/coronavirus.
