Holland 1 Discovery Day


It is 120 years since the Royal Navy changed forever with the introduction of its first submarine - Holland 1. Join the National Museum of the Royal Navy as it celebrates this milestone with a family friendly day all about this extraordinary craft and its unique part in naval history.

Families can take part in interactive storytelling sessions, to hear the tale of the amazing underwater mouse. Visitors can also learn more about the eight brave men who dared to live beneath the waves, or even find out about the challenges of taking care of this naval icon today.
