Girl in a dinghy enjoying a Boatgen day

Boatgen provides a chance for kids and teenagers to try something new, and to discover the many different ways to get out on the water.

Boatfolk and the Andrew Simpson Foundation are on a mission to get even more young people experiencing the joys of being on the water. If you're a water lover or just keen to try something new, Boatgen days are the perfect opportunity to try something new.

The Boatgen day taking place Haslar Marina in Gosport is free to attend and will have a number of activities on offer. These include:
Demonstrations from the Gosport Sea Cadets
On-the-water dinghy sailing session
The opportunity to chat with organisations in the marine sector including the RNLI

Potential restrictions due to weather and tides means an exact itinerary will be announced closer to the date of the event.
