Gosport Past and Present is an exhibition featuring scenes of the town in paint by artists Neil Marshall and David Whitson.

See how the landscape of Gosport has inspired two local artists with very different styles. The works depict Gosport decades apart and will be on display alongside photographs from the museum collection.

Combining old photos, historical research, and his skills in computer 3D modelling, Neil Marshall paints detailed images of Gosport in the past, showing angles and elevations not seen before and with cameos of people going about their everyday lives.

David Whitson's skills in composition, perspective, lighting, and colour, learnt during his career as a cinematographer, help him to create images of Gosport today. His own photographs form his inspiration.

The gallery opening times may vary. Please check the website for before visiting.
