The WeLove Salon is a great destination for all your hair and beauty needs, having previously won the prestigious Southern Hairdresser of the Year award.

That's not the only award in WeLove's roster, though. Just recently salons franchisee Cileste Makkink-Rogers was unveiled as the 2016 recipient of The Fellowship Scholarship. After a day of intense interviews, Cileste was chosen as the winner by judges including Bruno Marc Antoni of Marc Antoni, Edward Darley of the Sassoon Academy, Ruth Hunsley from Hairdresser’s Journal and Martyn Wady from Denman Brush. Also on hand for the day was Project Leader Ken Picton of the Ken Picton Salon, there to ensure the day ran smoothly. He will now guide Cileste on her Scholarship journey in which she'll receive four weeks of education at the Sassoon academy.

In addition, stylist Ines Macedo has been announced as one of the finalists for the British Hairdressing Business Awards ‘Salon Stylist Of The Year’ - taking her place among only six others around the UK.

This award is given to the stylist who excels in customer care, training, contribution to their salon and what they do away from the salon to expand their profile (from fashion weeks to seminars and shows). Ines will now attend an interview with the other finalists before the winners are announced at the award ceremony on Monday 12th September at The Lancaster in London.
