In summer 2026 for over eight roaring weeks, Portsmouth will come alive with a pride of lion sculptures, each uniquely designed by talented artists and inspired by the spirit of our vibrant city.
Whether you're a local or a visitor, young or young at heart, a bespoke trail map will point you on a journey of discovery, inspiration, and a whole lot of fun. There will be rewards to unlock and new places to discover along the way.
Artist applications

If you're an artist with a passion for Portsmouth then be part of the Pride by transforming one of the lion sculptures into a unique work of art.
You'll get a lion sculpture as your canvas, promotion across the trail, and the chance to be part of a high-profile public art event that celebrates 100 years of Portsmouth.
