Loch Fyne was brought to life by two oyster enthusiasts, Johnny and Andy, who started selling their oysters from a small shack on the west coast of Scotland.
They now have 23 Restaurants up and down the country, providing fresh, sustainably sourced seafood dishes;much of which is delivered fresh from the loch itself. At the Loch Fyne Portsmouth restaurant, they are all about great food and great flavours. Their dishes are simply prepared with a focus on high quality, fresh ingredients and choices to suit all tastes and appetites.
They are open all day from breakfast through to dinner at their beautiful waterside setting in The Vulcan Building at Gunwharf Quays. They like to be relaxed and informal so feel free to drop in any time for a delicious snack or full three-course seafood treat from their extensive a la carte menu. We also offer a comprehensive wine list, carefully created by our wine experts to accompany our great dishes. Their attention to detail and focus on quality is clear to see in all that they do; from warm inviting restaurant, to choosing their knowledgeable and professional people.
The golden shell mussels they serve in the restaurant are supplied by Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd, who have recently been recognised as the first blue mussel producer in the world to receive certification against the ASC bivalve standard; awarded by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council.
