The 'We're Good to Go' standard was devised to give you the confidence to visit tourist attractions, safe in the knowledge that they were doing all they can to keep you safe during these times. Developed by the UK's tourist organisations (Visit England, Visit Scotland, Visit Wales and Visit Northern Ireland), the mark is only awarded to those businesses that can prove they are up to speed with all the latest government regulations, and have put all the necessary measures in place to mitigate risk for all visitors coming through their doors.
If you're unsure about visiting anywhere, the 'We're Good to Go' mark is your reassurance that you'll be kept as safe as possible. Look out for the green tick to see which businesses have been granted accreditation - thus proving they have all the relevant measures in place.
Thankfully, a great many businesses across Portsmouth have applied for, and been awarded, 'We're Good to Go' status. See the list below of just some of those which have been successful in their application, and can now proudly display their green tick.
You can find out more about the scheme - or apply for accreditation if you're a tourism business - on the Visit Britain website. Conversely, if you've visited somewhere and feel there wasn't enough being done to protect visitors, let Portsmouth City Council know by using this form.
