The Monterey Festival 1967 featured the first major American appearances by Jimi Hendrix and The Who, and the Janis Joplin's first major public performance. Psychedelic legends Country Joe & The Fish, Al Kooper's Blues Project and The Steve Miller Band also appeared at this prestigious event, and The Former Members comprise core members of all three bands - Bruce Barthol and David Bennet Cohen (Country Joe & The Fish), Roy Blumenfeld (The Blues Project) and Greg Douglass (Steve Miller Band). A true psychedelic blues super group! "This ain’t just music - this is history!"
