Overlooking the busy Solent, Portsmouth's Blue Reef Aquarium takes visitors on the ultimate undersea safari. From the rich variety of British waters to the beauty of a tropical coral reef and more than 40 other displays - including a fantastic otter holt - the aquarium offers a fascinating window into the hidden world beneath the waves. At the aquarium's heart is a giant tropical reef tank with its own underwater, walk-through tunnel and home to a variety of tropical sharks and stingrays as well as hundreds of brightly-coloured reef fish.

Blue Reef Aquarium are offering Portsmouth Library Card holders £2 off the price of adult, senior and child standard tickets. New for 2011, Blue Reef Aquarium are offering serving members of the armed forces and emergency services a £2 discount on the full admission price with £2 off the price for up to four accompanying adults, seniors or children. Discounted prices will be available for armed forced and emergency services in the gift shop and cafe. Don't forget to take your ID to the reception desk to qualify.
