Eastney Beam Engine House's main attraction is a pair of magnificent James Watt beam engines, steamed when the museum is open, housed in their original high Victorian engine house of 1887, A variety of other pumping engines, many in running order, are also on display. The Museum is only open on the following weekends in 2008: 26-27 July, 30-31 August, 27-28 September, 25-26 October and 29-30 November. FREE of charge.
