The varied styles of 20th century English choral music are explored in Vaughan Williams' lyrical and beautiful setting of Shakespeare texts and Britten's curious yet appealing setting of Christopher Smart's poem "Rejoice in the Lamb," whilst five evocative and characterful American folk songs, arranged by Daryl Runswick, contrast with John Rutter's dazzling "Gloria". Start time 7.30pm
