The Harbour's ferry port offers a number of routes to and from France, Spain and the Channel Islands.

Wightlink ferries provide car and passenger services to Fishbourne and Ryde on the Isle of Wight and Hovertravel operate a passenger service to Ryde.

The Gosport Ferry is the main cross-harbour connection which links Gosport with Portsmouth. It operates seven days a week between Gosport Esplanade and Portsmouth Harbour Rail Station.
