Portsmouth International Port

Portsmouth International Port

Your gateway to continental Europe and beyond

International Port

Portsmouth International Port is the perfect gateway to France, Spain and the Channel Islands and a host of cruise destinations.

A new passenger terminal, opened in 2011 as part of a £16.5 million investment, offers the modern high standards and style of an airport terminal. Facilities include a bright pleasant café: comfortable seating in attractive contemporary surroundings and you can shop for last-minute purchases, travel essentials and currency exchange.

Regular services run to Caen, Cherbourg and Le Havre in Normandy, and St Malo in Brittany, for city breaks and easy onward travel throughout France. Spanish destinations are Santander and Bilbao, while there are frequent sailings to Jersey and Guernsey.

If you are coming to Portsmouth to catch a ferry or begin your cruise, make sure you leave yourself enough time to visit the passenger terminal, in fact why not come to Portsmouth a day early and see the many attractions our city has to offer.

See below links to all the ferry companies operating through Portsmouth:

Berths are available at Gunwharf Quays Marina, Port Solent Marina and Haslar Marina

Please note permission from QHM must be obtained before entering and leaving Gunwharf Quays Marina. QHM can be reached on VHF Channel 11.
