Gunwharf Quays is great for family visits, with bowling, the cinema, shopping and restaurants, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. School holidays are an ideal time to visit, there’s always something going on for kids and teenagers will love shopping at surf or skater brand outlet stores.

Head out to Southsea for more delights – not only is there 4 miles of seafront promenade, but more fantastic attractions too. There’s plenty of space to play because the seafront is backed by lush green common land and gardens. Why not bring a picnic and a kite or roller-blades?

Clarence Pier Amusement Park is a must for thrill-seekers! Ride The Twister, The Power Tower and the newest addition, the Disko Ride. Those wanting a gentler experience will love the Gallopers or the Teacups – or just enjoy the sea views!

Further along the seafront, Blue Reef Aquarium takes you on an undersea safari and brings you face to face with sharks, rays and delightful otters in tropical waters. The underwater tunnel is a fantastic experience, wander through while sharks and tropical fish swim above you. Feeding demonstrations, talks and family activities regularly feature too.
